Painting Thesis

Driven by the visual impact of my travels, I developed a process that merges painting and sculptural techniques. This series utilizes a diverse range of media, notably aluminum foil combined with oil paint and adhesives, to build landscapes that are both visually and texturally rich. The reflective quality of the foil enhances luminosity, while the layered application of materials emphasizes surface variations. My intent is to translate the ever-evolving shapes and forms of the natural world into immersive pictorial spaces, encouraging viewers to reconsider their relationship with the environment.
